The main focus of our work is the existence of a linguistics law called "Menzerath-Altmann" in the gene structure. According to this law, one may expect that in genes with fewer exons, the mean size of these exons will tend to be greater. Although this property has already been reported by others (see e.g. here) we were able to provide a solid link with the dynamic process of exon evolution.
